Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Life Sciences is the successor to the Bulletin of the MSSR Academy of Sciences. The series of biological and chemical sciences, founded in 1968, which since 2001 has been published under the name of the Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Biological, chemical and agricultural sciences, and since 2005 - under the current name. During the Journal activity 343 issues were published.

The bulletin is a regular, integrated scientific journal and covers the fields in which the founding institutions operate: genetics, physiology and sanocreatology, plant physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology, zoology, ecology and geography. The nominated fields determined the structure of the magazine, which includes the respective sections edited by specialized editorial teams.

The Journal publishes theoretical and experimental articles, analytical, express information and new research methods, chronicle on national and international scientific forums, reviews on new publications in the respective fields, commemorative materials, etc. The authors of the publications are scientific researchers from organizations in the field of science and innovation in Moldova and other countries. The works presented in Romanian, English, Russian are accepted for publication.

The bulletin is of interest to scientific institutions, universities, libraries as a regular source of scientific information in the relevant fields.
