In 2018, the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM) worked according to the new legislative provisions, according to Law no. 190 of September 21, 2017 for completing the Code of Science and Innovation, which includes the transfer from 20th February 2018 of the research institutes subordinated to ASM to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECR).
