Lucrarea de faţă reprezintă o analiză de sinteză a resurselor ştiinţifice vechi şi a celor contemporane în vederea elucidării particularităţilor de geneză a ihtiofaunei de pe teritoriul Republicii Moldova. S-a constatat că un rol deosebit în geneza ihtiofaunei bazinului Ponto-Caspic l-au avut variaţia nivelului mărilor şi modificările climaterice. În ultimul secol au devenit relevanţi factorii de origine antropică cu efect distructiv major ca: fragmentarea ecosistemelor riverane, translocarea de specii străine, poluarea, ş.a.

The present paper is a synthesis analysis of the old and contemporary scientific resources
for the purpose to elucidate the particularities of ichtiofaunistic genesis from the territory of the Republic of Moldova. It has been found that a major role in the ichtiofaunistic genesis has been the variation in sea level and climatic changes. In the last century have become relevant, factors of anthropogenic origin with a serious destructive effect, such as: fragmentation of rivers, the spread of alien species, pollution, and others.

Настоящая статья представляет собой анализ синтеза древних и современных научных ресурсов с целью выяснения особенностей генезиса ихтиофауны на территорий Республики Молдова. Важнейшую роль в генезисе ихтиофауны сыграли изменение уровня морей и климатические изменения. В последнем столетии решающею роль имеют факторы антропогенного происхождения с серьезным разрушительным эффектом, такие как: фрагментация рек, распространение чужеродных видов, загрязнение, и др.
