Acest articol are ca scop prezentarea aspectelor generale a unuia dintre cele mai importante procese geomorfologice evidențiate în cadrul Câmpiei Bîcului Inferior – eroziunea de adâncime. Din suprafața totală a teritoriului cercetat, eroziunea de adâncime afectează 1440,3 ha. Tipologia și distribuția spațială a acestui proces sunt doar câteva dintre aspectele prezentate în lucrare și sunt generate de un inventar geomorfologic al teritoriilor afectate. Cartarea și inventarierea formațiunilor de eroziune în adâncime constituie elementele de bază în analiza tiparelor temporale ale terenurilor afectate și ale consecințelor negative induse de ale acestea asupra morfodinamicii zonei de studiu.

The purpose of this article is to present the general aspects of one of the most important geomorphological processes highlighted in the Lower Bic Plain. The given process affects 1440.33 ha of the total area of the investigated territory. The typology and the spatial distribution of this process are just a few of the aspects presented in the given article and are generated by a geomorphological inventory of the territories affected by this process. The mapping and inventory of the deep erosion process are the basic elements in the analysis of the temporal patterns of the affected lands and of the negative consequences of this process on the study area.

Целью данной статьи является представление общих аспектов одного из наиболее важных геоморфологических процессов, выделенных на Нижней равнине. Данный процесс затрагивает 1440,33 га общей площади исследуемой территории. Типология и пространственное распределение этого процесса - лишь некоторые из аспектов, представленных в данной статье, полученные в результате геоморфологической инвентаризации территорий, затронутых этим процессом. Картирование и инвентаризация процесса глубокой эрозии являются основными элементами анализа временных характеристик пораженных земель и негативных последствий этого процесса для района исследований.
